Using the survey method, a structured questionnaire was used for data collection. The study sample was 1045 residents of Shiraz who were selected using the cluster sampling method. To evaluate the validity of the questionnaire, factor analysis was used, and Cronbach's alpha was used to evaluate the reliability of the questionnaire. The results showed that the variables of cultural capital, social class, and level of education had a positive and significant relationship at the level of 99% with the environmental citizenship variable. There was a significant difference in environmental citizenship between men and women. Women, high social classes, and Individuals with Ph.D. education had stronger environmental citizenship than other people. In total, the independent variables explained 21.4% of the changes in the dependent variable variance.

Abstract The complex and vague relationship between the type of occupation and election participation has received little attention in Iran. This article attempted to investigate the relationship between the two variables in the Tenth, Eleventh, and Twelfth Presidential Elections using the comparative research method. The research findings showed that the election periods, as independent variables, have significant impacts on election participation, so we cannot create an index for all of the election periods.
In the Tenth and Eleventh election periods, the rates of election participation among businesses were lower than the private sector. Furthermore, the participation rate is low among the following occupation: service personnel and sellers, technicians and assistants, specialists, and workers.

Abstract This article aims at testing Henry Lefebvre's theory of right to the city in Tehran. By adopting a quantitative approach, implications and relevance of the framework and the concepts, as well as the possibility of adding gender as an effective independent variable to the framework will be investigated. The results from a sample of 168 men and women in all 22 municipalities of Tehran indicate that the theory is substantially relevant in Iranian society with a single exception of the concept of production of space. This could be a consequence of culturalpolitical differences in the concept of right and citizenship in different social contexts. Logistic regression analysis also shows that there are gender based differences in the realization of right to the city in Tehran. Women's enjoy less participation and appropriation in the city and gender plays an important role along with class in realization of right to the city.

The results from a sample of 168 men and women in all 22 municipalities of Tehran indicate that the theory is substantially relevant in Iranian society with a single exception of the concept of production of space. This could be a consequence of cultural-political differences in the concept of right and citizenship in different social contexts. Logistic regression analysis also shows that there are gender based differences in the realization of right to the city in Tehran. Women's enjoy less participation and appropriation in the city and gender plays an important role along with class in realization of right to the city.
